For homework, please find a viral post (news story, video or meme) on social media that you think is inaccurate or untrue. Post a link to the post and explain why you think it's not true. Can you answer these questions from the crap test?
Currency: How current (recent) is the post?
Reliability: Are there references or sources included?
Authority: Who posted this? Are they an expert on the subject?
Point of View: Is this fact or opinion? Is it biased?

For homework #1, please answer this question online:
Do you think slacktivism is a good thing or a bad thing? Why? Support your opinion with reasons. Your answer should be at least 125+ words.
For homework #2, go to Change.org and look at some of the causes and petitions that are available to sign. You do not have to sign any if you don't want to, but can you find a good cause on this site that you would like to support? Please provide a link if possible.
